"When it came to preparing for my future career, I felt supported in every way. Firstly, by the International Student Advice team, then from all the module leads, the programme lead, and from my research supervisor. I never felt alone throughout this challenging time of my career and life.
On my first taught day of one of the modules, I felt extremely overwhelmed and really felt like giving up. The lecturer noticed and was extremely supportive, as was the module lead who took his time to listen to my concerns and reassure me."

"Even if you have a problem that you think nobody can help you with, do not keep it to yourself. Talk to a module lead, a lecturer, your tutor or a member of the pastoral team. They will be able to provide support for whatever you need and in a professional and ethical way.
It might sound like a cliché but it is not: you are truly not alone."
"The most exciting experience I had on my course was presenting my dissertation at the 2020 online South West Clinical Schools Symposium and having my research topic considered the one that generated the most discussion. Getting this feedback from acclaimed and experienced researchers was such a boost of motivation to carry on in the research path."
