The Entrepreneurial Futures Net Zero Internship and Leadership Programme was a funded internship opportunity placing current students or recent graduates of the °µÍø½âÃÜ within businesses throughout Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly to work on a specific low-carbon challenge or opportunity. worked as a Marketing Coordinator Net Zero Intern at , focusing on building awareness and engagement for the organisation's biochar pilot project in Cornwall. This involved communicating the potential of biochar as a carbon removal solution while showcasing Restord's efforts in addressing climate change through innovation and collaboration. A key part of the project was managing and promoting Grounded, Restord's award-winning podcast, which documents the startup's journey and sheds light on the challenges and opportunities within the carbon removal space.
 
 
 
 

3  What were the aims? 

  • Enhance Restord's visibility and engagement across multiple digital channels, including website and social media platforms.
  • Support the promotion and growth of Grounded, Restord's award-winning podcast, highlighting the company's biochar journey. 
  • Create and execute campaigns that communicate Restord's milestones, partnerships, and sustainability efforts to a wide audience. 
  • Educate and engage stakeholders and the general public about biochar and its potential as a carbon removal and agricultural solution.
