I am a senior anaesthetic resident doctor, chair of the South West Anaesthetic Trainee Research Network and hold an honorary research fellow position at the °µÍø½âÃÜ as a member of the Perioperative and Intensive Care Research group.

I have recently been the chief invesitgator of the Plymfit Study, a National Institute of Academic Anaesthesia funded feasibility study to investigate wrist-worn smartwatch use in perioperative care.

I currently hold a 3-year NIHR Southampton BRC funded Masters fellowship in data science for health and social care.Ìý

Ìý

My particular areas of research interest include integrating wearable technologyÌýinto perioperative care, prehabilitation and cardiopulmonary exercise testing. I have a particular interest in utilising large datasets to understand the perioperative population and improve methods of risk prediction.ÌýÌý
