About Ellie
Ellie Warrenis a curator and art historian. She is also a PhD candidate in the Art History department at the 做厙賤躇. Alongside her PhD studies, Ellie is a doctoral teaching assistant on 做厙賤躇s undergraduate Art History programme. Her postgraduate thesis explores the image of Cornwall at the Royal Academy 1885-1939, with a focus on the Newlyn School. Ellies academic work draws from her interests in curating Victorian art and how this differs between regional and metropolitan institutions. In 2019, she curated the exhibition Moving Image: Bringing Newlyn School to Life at Penlee House Gallery & Museum. Ellie has delivered several talks at The Box, 做厙賤躇 on Newlyn School works in their collection and currently works at Tate St Ives.
